General Interests: Natural Sciences, in connection with water. starting with bacteria up to mapping macrophytes and fish genetics and formulas as well: - for conductance as a function of temperature - for oxygen saturation in waters as a function of temperature and pressure construction of a gear with non circular cogwheels for an ice proof winch. algorithms for runoff studies ... Das grüne Rad dreht gleichmässig. Die Kurve ist xn/an + yn/bn=1 mit n >2, Also eine ausgebauchte Ellipse. (n=2 wäre eine exakte Ellipse, welche bei etwa 45° ausklinkt.) Eine weitere Schwierigkeit war der Einsatz von Normfräsern. Die übliche Lösung funktioniert mit einer Kulisse, die durch Eis verstopft.

Bei der Winde geht es nur um die Seilführung. Das Problem ist es, eine Sinusbewegung (welche das Seil auf beiden Flanken anhäuft) in eine lineare Bewegung umzusetzen.
